Empowering a Generation to Engage

It has been shown that those who are educated to university degree level develop better social cohesion, trust and tolerance which then fosters a greater political stability within a country. These graduates then have better social mobility and through the diverse connections made at university develop a long lasting social capital. These individuals are therefore more likely to vote, engage in volunteering, support the education of others, and live longer. They are less likely to commit crime, drink, smoke, suffer mental or other health issues.
